I have had it before, it can be, yes, at the first start because the components of the laptops are usually coded and only run with the motherboard and processor and if you change something the system pushes a bar, it is like with printer cartridges too, originals always work and the cheap ones can be lucky or unlucky.
For me it was a HP that did not want the way I wanted, had to first configure the latch before I could use it at all
