What do people buy broken laptops?

Everywhere I see "I'm buying broken laptops" etc. What can you do with old laptops? When are they that old? Nobody in DE buys them. They won't be sold on, are they?

Well, some components can still be used to repair other devices, or you can try to repair the laptop yourself

Some salespeople who do not have a plan for technology or laptops assume that their laptop can no longer be saved and then give it away for little money. The buyer can then possibly make a profit or will most likely make it if he is properly informed about the condition of the device in advance and does not pay too much for it.

The buyer could then, on the one hand, use or sell parts of the device that are still intact for other devices. Then it can of course also happen that the device can ultimately be repaired for a small investment. This means that the device could then be sold on at a higher price overall.

They will repair them and sell them again or the individual parts. Those who have no idea often do not know that sometimes it is only small things that are defective and having repairs is often expensive.
