Is a tablet worth it?

It was my birthday a few days ago and I can buy something with this money.

I just need a laptop for you school, but I would rather buy a tablet with a leptop function, with the tablet I would like to draw digitally, watch series and take notes, but also need it for school, where I have to work with PowerPoint and Word.

Should I buy a tablet now or should I stick with a Leptop?
