Only the connection with the provider is LTE… Devices connect to the router as with the others too
It's logical - for LTE you need a SIM card. If every device has one, you do not need a router anymore

Only the router has an LTE connection, the devices connect to the router via Wi-Fi or cable (depending on the router)
But you can turn on the hotspot function in your phone - then your smartphone acts as ROUTER for the other wireless devices… But plug in charging cable, that draws power
