Laptop with Intel UHD 620 graphics card
For a week, the HDMI port on my laptop does not work anymore. If I plug in a cable (with 3 cables, screen and TV repeatedly tested) simply no display is detected. The laptop is just two weeks old, so it's hard to imagine that it's wearing out. The image does not even flicker when plugged in, let alone beeps or the typical calibration of the resolution.
What have I already tried:
driver
Turn on and off
Various cables
Various ads
Switching the display modes
I had an event this weekend. There I noticed the following, when I touch the case of the laptop, it was electrically charged. If you touched it, there was a small knock and the picture on the projector was briefly disconnected. I do not know if that is related.
Can someone give me a hint, what can I try from home before I send it away? Are there any unusual settings that you can check? Is it possible to deactivate the recognition of Ads somehow?
You can try in the operating system to activate the second screen / projector in the sense of screen mirror or expand
There's as far as I know in most laptops a keyboard shortcut
