Is my laptop VR ready?

I recently owned a new Oculus Quest 2 and am just wondering if my laptop would be able to play Steam VR games over the Oculus Link.

To my specs:

Intel Core i5-7200U 2.50GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 950M u.o? Intel HD Graphics 620
8 GB of RAM

I know I can't do Half Life Alyx with it, but I would like to know if I can drive Minecraft VR or Gary's Mod VR.

Theoretically probably already feasible at the lowest settings, but would see the 8GB RAM as a problem factor since VR is already pulling on the RAM and then also more dual channel than single channel.

Barely. With my GTX 970 I sometimes have problems with Beat Saber. I've also tried top VR games like The Walking Dead or Asgard's Wrath - it doesn't work at all.

Unfortunately, the link cable is extremely expensive
