Idiosyncratic mouse pointer?

On my laptop it has often occurred that the mouse hovers slightly trembling over the screen, without the mouse is moved. Even if I pull out the stick and the mouse de-energized, that goes on. This may mean that something is being opened. As long as that stays internal, that can still be dealt with, but when the internet browser opens, oh dear!

Did someone already have that?

Ever thought of the touchpad?

Yes I have. Extra attention was paid that nothing is on it and cleaned. But this question has been asked before. There I think I found something. But thanks for the answer.
