I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 and downloaded Spotify there. Everything worked perfectly, but then a few weeks ago the music stopped, so to speak, at minute and second 0, so there's no playback of the music.
It is not interrupted or anything else - playback does not start. Exactly the same with other songs. Strangely, Spotify works with no issues on my laptop.
I already did everything I could find on the Internet: I went to the system settings> Apps> Spotify> I activated "Allow background activity" and I also set "Optimize battery consumption" to "Do not optimize".
Unfortunately, Spotify still doesn't work.
I have the free version of Spotify.
I also have an S8 and I would try to go to "Apps" in Settings and click "Stop Application".
If that doesn't work then delete spotify and download it again.
I've done both several times. That didn't help either.
