I'm looking for a new laptop that should cost less than 600 euro. I now wanted to buy this myself:

Either 8 or 16GB of RAM. It is important to me that everything runs smoothly & that the laptop has a long shelf life. I will mainly do simple things like surfing, typing, etc. However, it would be good if it could also run games like Minecraft. Is 8GB enough for this or should I go to 16GB?
