I have a problem. I would like to buy a new monitor that I can connect to my laptop. My graphics card (Intel HD Graphics 5500) supports 4K at 60 Hz, but not via HDMI (since it only supports up to HDMI 1.4). The problem is that my laptop doesn't have a DisplayPort connector. Now my question: Can I somehow convert the 30 Hz to 60 Hz externally? Or replace the graphics card? Or retrofit DisplayPort? My laptop is a Lenovo IdeaPad 100-15ibd. If none of this is possible, I would buy a 27 "Full HD screen. If the quality is sufficient and someone can recommend screens to me.

How do you want to recover missing data?
Or replace the graphics card?
Most unlikely with a laptop. It's also your CPU
Or retrofit DisplayPort?
Just as unlikely
You have bad luck
There's a more sensible way in every way: take a WQHD screen! This enables 1440p60 over HDMI and the picture quality is much better than on FullHD. Use WQHD at 24 "yourself.
