Lenovo Ideapad y510p SLI second graphics card is not used?

Hello everyone; I use the Lenovo IdeaPad y510p SLI model in everyday life. However, the problem with gambling games is that the second graphics card (on the right) is not used / claimed on newer games. SLI mode is enabled on Nvidia Geforce Experience. Also, the second graphics card is displayed and works well in older games. However, I notice Darksouls 3, Civilization 6 and Total War Rome 2 (rather newer games) that the second video card is not used. While the left side of the laptop gets hot, the right one is completely cool. Does one have an idea how to solve it?

Edit: My IT colleague with whom I talked about said that could help a BIOS update. What do you think?

No.

Many games are just not optimized for SLI or did not support it at all!

You can't do anything about that.

That's one of many weaknesses that SLI brings with it in general!

This is really extremely annoying grad. Never had problems with games, but with the newer it just does not run. According to CPUID monitor, the cores become hot when playing up to 90 degrees, because the second graphics card does not join.

Ey

Because it just does not stay there!

I've never heard of SLI in a notebook before, and that's one of the stupidest ideas I've ever seen!

For SLI is just too immature technology and the bad side effects, such as the increased heat and power consumption, make this technology completely unsuitable for laptops with much too low cooling performance!

And just because you just can't take out a graphics card, as in a desktop PC, I would never have guessed that there are SLI notebooks!

Nonsense in my eyes ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ / ¯

Sli is not very effective anyway, and many games do not support it!
