Suitable convertible notebook for Uni?

Eve,

am currently looking for a 2 in 1 convertible notebook for the university and maybe some work on the way. My budget is limited to up to 800 euro.

For example, I took a closer look at the HP Envy x360 and Lenovo IdeaPad C340 models with the Ryzen 5 3500U and would probably choose between them.

For me it is only important that it is a maximum of a ~ 14 "display and the battery life is at least moderate.

But I'm here to catch up with a few more opinions, ideas and suggestions, so get out! ^^

Ka

Have you ever looked at notebookbilliger.de?

Th

Depends on what you want to spend. The mentioned are not bad.

The best would probably be a Lenovo Thinkpad. They are very durable, the installed components of high quality and the battery life is quite a long time for the university.

Ah, the budget is right. Something always forgets.

I would be reluctant to spend more than 800 euro.

Unfortunately, the Thinkpad would disappear.

Do you have any other suggestions, or do you think I should stay calm at the top?

I have the Envy X360 with the Ryzen 3 and Vega 6 (14 inches) for the university and I'm very satisfied!

However, there are also different x360 devices that offer even better battery life!

Notebooksbilliger.de has up to 40% on notebooks this evening! If you already have the money you need, have a look!

I think the two are definitely not a bad choice. The Envy I had ever schonmal in my hand, the Lenovo not yet, is also still relatively new. But they probably will not take much of each other.

As the pen input looks like I can't say, maybe one cuts off better than the other, otherwise the Lenovo is already a P / L tip among the convertibles. Is even something cheaper than the HP Envy.

Ey

OK thank you!

Ey

Unfortunately there was no suitable device, but thanks anyway! ^^

Th

No problem.

I'm currently writing the answer with an Acer Switch 3.

Have been around for about a month and can only recommend it because it has enough power for Office, Photoshop and music production.

The battery lasts about 5-6 hours under continuous use, otherwise up to 8 hours and charges in 1-2 hours from 0 to 100 percent.

Then there would be a lot of good devices. Also Envys for 900-1000 euro, which after the discount (which one would have to enter at the cash register) only cost 700-800 euro… Also the Envy series with nem Ryzen 7 for less than 800 euro.

Ey

That's a nice recommendation on your part, but I've already learned more from that before.

There was only one HP Envy X360 model that was no bigger than 14 ", that was the model with the Ryzen 7.

This is absolutely not recommended, as it comes in the station wagon quickly to thermal throttling.

In benchmarks, the 13 "model with the Ryzen 5 therefore performs even better, as there's much less thermal throttling.

In comparison, the Ryzen 5 model is synonymous almost exactly as expensive, so I could save me adjusting the BIOS and so on.

Therefore, I was also interested in the Ryzen 5.
