Yesterday I downloaded wow for the first time on my old lenovo thinkpad t400 (Windows7). For this I use an external hard drive on which I have downloaded all content. Unfortunately, the game reacts extremely slowly and the connection breaks off already to log in. Even entering the password takes a long time. I'm told that my graphics card driver is not up to date (Mobile Intel (R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family), although I've already updated. Quick question, is my laptop simply too old or is there hope that Wow could still work?
Yes, your laptop is too old.
Games are always kept up to date. Your graphics card driver, however, not.
Z.b WOW 10.2018 has been renewed and assumes that your video driver is at least 12.2017. Your driver is from 5.2017. So WOW says your driver is not up to date.
That was just a fictional example.
Your hardware is too weak for everything and worse is probably the fact that you work with an external drive.
