Use audio output on the mainboard at the rear and front (on the case) at the same time?

Can you use the outputs from a mainboard (internal and external, so to speak) at the same time, so the same thing comes out of both outputs? (Previously only had laptops and since this no longer works, I'm now switching to a PC)

Depends on the hardware, but it probably works!
