Display port?

Can you install display port or is it only included with the laptop / computer?

You need that for the oculus rift s and my device does not support it.

What can you do?

DisplayPort is a cable connection like HDMI and DVI. You can't install that, either your laptop has such a connection or it doesn't have it.

No you can't. The exit is either installed or it is not. You may be able to use an adapter that adapts an existing digital output to DP. But it may not support everything. If there's no DP, this is a clear indication that the corresponding protocols, signals and speeds are not supported by the hardware.

No, that must have an optical connection. Displayport has a different connection than HDMI or something else.

Displayport is a connector, similar to HDMI. If you don't have one, you can buy a DP to HDMI adapter. Before doing so, find out whether this works with the Oculus.

DP is not an optical connection.

I know, I thought it had a physical connector, a hole made for this cable
