So I would like to attach a second screen to my Acer nitro 5 an517-51 (in addition to the laptop screen. My laptop has a 60 Hz screen (with 1080p) and I would like to take the second screen as the main screen, so to speak, since I do because I have more Hz. My problem is, I don't know if the screen will actually display 144hZ AND how to plug it in. My laptop has a legendary hdmi port 3 usb ports and a usb C. NO display port (not even in usb c I read that you can't get 144hz with hdmi, if so, is there an adapter like I could use a display port?
The fact is, I have no plan on how to connect it properly
If you don't have a connection that comes to 144 Hz, then it won't work with an adapter. You won't get any more water from your tap if you put an adapter on it.
You can only "get out" what is available…
