Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!
The USB cable of my mouse and a USB port of my laptop are broken and I do not know what to do.
Every time I turn on the laptop the following message appears:
Current overvoltage at the USB port
"Unknown USB device" requires more power than the port can provide.
Windows Explorer
I think what happened is something in the USB port is broken off.
Is there any way I can fix the mouse's USB cable and / or the laptop's USB port?
In the specialty shop, PC or mobile phone repairs. They can open the device and solder in a new USB socket. Or maybe you still have warranty?
Try another mouse. Other USB socket, if you do not have then Bluetooth mouse.
You could look with a magnifying glass into the USB socket on the laptop, if possibly two of the contacts are bent so that they touch.
Otherwise - with luck - you will find a plug-in contact for the USB port on the mainboard and you can pull in and shut down - in the hope you still have others and / or can connect a usb hub.
Hi that does not sound so good. Look in the USB socket nach.Ob what's inside or aborted.Wen yes, just pull it out with a pincet raus.Oder ask in the computer business nach.Viel Erfolg.Schönes weekend I wish you. Lg Klose11
For laptops, the USB ports are usually right on the board and the board goes all the way to the edge of the case
