Which operating system win?

Which operating system should I get for the laptop? Win 7 or win 10 or an 8 or?

For a laptop I would still use Windows 7. I've noticed that a lot less background processes are running on my laptop just running windows 7 38 background processes… Meanwhile, on my windows 10 pc, 180 background processes are running. The installed programs are identical on both operating systems!

These programs cause Windows 10 to stop working properly.

In my place, I would take Windows 10 because the support for Windows 7 will be discontinued soon, that is, there are no more security holes closed.

Either win7 or 10, 64 bit versions. Depends on your taste and how well you know about security.
If you know how to protect yourself, you can also continue to use the 7 version even if there are no updates.

Personally, I found the 8er version very user-unfriendly, as a very very bad version of the 10s can be imagined. Was hardly possible there to adjust things.
