RAM idle at 50%, should it?

I recently added a new notebook. Has the I7 and stupidly only 8GB of memory. But that is if I do nothing at 50% … Does anyone have some tips on how to reduce it?

St

And why do you want to reduce that?

Data is in RAM for faster access. If it is needed otherwise, occupied RAM will be released

Remove programs from the startup and uninstall (the whole Bloadware from the manufacturer)

Enable paging files.

Windows takes like about 3GB claim.

If I do nothing at 50%.

That does not matter if you do nothing.

It only becomes interesting when you run your applications…

8 GB RAM is good enough in most cases.

Completely normal.

Windows takes when given.

But do not worry, as long as you do not scratch the 100% you have no problems. Why should the operating system also save? The RAM is there, the RAM is free.

While doing nothing, Windows grabs the free resources for updates or building indexes. There's no reason to expand the store unless it runs short during your activity.

Who has too much money, of course, can buy memory to make the PC "better".

By the way, the more memory installed, the higher the likelihood that an error will occur.

Thanks for the star
