Buy Normal Laptop and Install Mac OSX 10.14?
Macbooks are clearly too expensive for the performance they offer, even if you pay for them you usually pay twice as much as for a normal NEW Windows notebook.
Have seen on YouTube that some install on their PC with USB sticks OSX.
Do you need any special prerequisites to install OSX, or can I use any notebook like this one:

Is not illegal, OSX acquired legally!
MacOS can't be purchased for years. MacOS can be downloaded for free and the license explicitly allows operation on Apple hardware only!

10.6 Snow Leopard is a 10 year old operating system. Seriously? It is about newer system versions. The free, by binding to Apple hardware. License conditions are to be observed in principle.
You can update Mac OSX, that's not the problem. There's no law that forbids installing OSX on other devices. Terms and conditions and licensing can violate rights, what they do even from Apple!
