Have a small project, got a MacBook Pro mid 2009 17 "cheap and would like to try getting it fit again MacBook was already upgraded with 8gb of RAM before buying.

Tested Systems: MacOS El Capitan, Lion and Catalina (via the patch from dosdude1)

Following problems:
- The MacBook almost never starts without a power adapter (whether with original or new replacement battery). If the power adapter is tuned start it without problems.

- Also it is so that it crashes irregularly - 1x Without high load I've just plugged in an external mouse and the mouse settings revised 1x When I have the MacBook charged extra with Minecraft, but only after 20min and 1x look at the Netflix.

Strangely, the Macbook has survived stress tests and general hardware tests.

I've tested a brand new SSD and my used in another laptop HDD, both previously the same error.

Since now, after my tests also slowly my knowledge is maxed out, I ask you now, maybe this is a Mac pro among you who has an idea.

Maybe you have a heat problem, it could be that your MacBook gets too hot at times

It seems to me as if there's something wrong with the power transmission. That would make sense, why it is not possible with different batteries. And stress test survived. But it crashes in idle mode. Then I conclude that if the current flows unhindered, everything is fine. Could be a problem of voltage transformers. You would have to test. If that were now a desktop PC, I could give more details. But to be honest, looking at a notebook is a bit more difficult. But based on what you describe, I'm almost certain that there's a power problem. Could also be on the power supply.
