I bought a MacBook M1 2020 and a laptop or monitor holder. (Sees picture)
Now it is so that the shelf for the monitor is made of metal and has already scratched the underside of the MacBook.
I thought about looking for a suitable pad but I don't know what material it should be made of.
The pad should be very thin and breathable, as I don't want the laptop to get hot too quickly.
What material could I "tinker" with a suitable base with which the laptop does not get hot or overheat?
Hopefully you are aware that these parts do not change the temperature of a MacBook at all because they have no ventilation grille on the underside.
I would just put a thin rubber mat on it.
Yes, but thin!
The MacBooks with the M1 chip have no fans… So unnecessary!
And then there are 4 small rubber feet on the underside… So there shouldn't be any scratches on the lower Srite when putting it down 🤷🏼♂️
So the AIR is without / PRO with fan…
Thank you, I actually didn't know. I only noticed that the MacBook got relatively hot after several hours
