Macbook parents persuade online school?

Since we're currently having online schooling, I need a new laptop. Mine has gotten slow & I always have to get up an hour in advance so I have to make sure that my laptop has no problems so that I'm not late for class. The internet goes off all the time and I will soon have a presentation, but since it doesn't work at all on my laptop and I have to use my mobile phone (iOS), since such apps already exist and you don't have to install anything. However, my screen on the phone is small and I can't work well! A Macbook would be PERFECT for everything! My mother wanted to buy me a Macbook when I locked it down for the first time, but since we then went back to normal school, she gave up and now she doesn't care how difficult it is for me now. I'm also not very familiar with Windows etc. Compared to iOS or macOS

Windows is almost everywhere, even in school. You don't know your way Learn it. Windows laptops are cheaper with the same laptop.

If it absolutely MUST be a Macbook, look for a used one for little money. There are already some for 400 euro in good condition, but older. See Ebay classifieds.

Most of the important apps are preinstalled on iOS & on Windows you have to download most of them (or even buy them to make sure that they are virus-free)

MacOS is different from iOS.

Ios has very little to do with macos and you can find help in student circles for Windows. In addition, a Mac book is much more expensive.

Buy a MacBook, MacBook Pro or MacBoo Air and show me how you can work with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook for free - do you think Microsoft is giving the programs away?! Make documents with Numbers, Keynote and Pages and give them to your colleagues and teachers - it will fail!

What you can of course do, you can also install a Windows 10 boot camp on a MacBook, but then it would be even more incomprehensible.

So either buy yourself a MacBook and let grandpa, grandma, aunt, uncle help you with it or get yourself a nice new notebook.
