Sims4 MacBook?

I like to play and often play the Sims 4 with many expansion packs I bought, but my laptop is getting old and I was thinking about buying a Macbook. First of all, my question would be if I have to buy all the Sims games again or just download them by Origin to the new Macbook? And my second question would be if there's someone who plays Sims on a Macbook and if there are difficulties or everything runs great (with several expansion packs)?

You can then simply log in with your Origin account and re-download the games
