Best MacBook alternative? Windows Ultrabook for productive work?

I have been thinking about buying a 16 "MacBook Pro for a long time now. Nevertheless, I'm not quite sure because of the transition from Windows to Mac OS.

That's why I'm also looking for alternatives in the Windows area. In my case, the requirements for this would be a thin notebook with a lot of performance and a long battery life. Since I then use it primarily in the programming / scripting area, a display with touch and pen input is actually unnecessary. In addition, the display edges should be as small as possible, but the display itself should be in the range of 15 to 16 inches in order to be able to work properly.

On top of that, I also like to play a few games, so a good graphics card and a good cooling system won't hurt either.

So far I have only found three alternatives that are not entirely flawless:

Razer Blade 15 Advanced: Super performance and very thin and quiet for gaming notebooks, super keyboard - Unfortunately, relatively little memory available (max. 512GB)
Asus ZenBook Pro Duo: Specs absolutely fantastic, unfortunately ugly and thick
Surface Laptop / Book 2: performance out of date, poor optimization

What I don't want: 5kg gaming machines, even if they may be better in terms of price / performance.

I want something to work productively that looks simple / minimalistic and is space-saving.

Switching from Windows to MacOS is not that difficult and the MacBook Pro 16 inch is just awesome. Would rather advise you to get the Mac

Own experience?

No

Working productively with a long battery, I would really recommend the Apple product…

Yes, I also got the MacBook Pro 16 inch recently and the transition was hardly noticed because MacOS is simply significantly more optimized. (Previously had about 10 years of Windows)

Thank you for your prompt reply! Will definitely consider that

There's not even an alternative to a MacBook, because in many ways it is a unique machine with many unique technologies and with its own operating system.

Moving from Windows to Mac was the best decision I made and I haven't looked back for a second. The switch was not difficult at all, suddenly everything was much easier and more intuitive and problems have been massively minimized.
