Macbook or Windows for the HTL?

I'm currently in the 1st grade of an HTL and from the 2nd year on I need a notebook for school. I wanted to ask whether I absolutely need a Windows PC there or whether I can also use a Macbook! (I go to the structural engineering branch and heard from someone that many drawing programs don't run on the Mac…)

Why don't you just ask at your school? Only they can know what the requirements are and what software is absolutely necessary.

My recommendation for construction programs is Windows. Of course, a Mac book is also possible, but you are on the safe side with MS Windows.
