I know, I know. As an administrator. Nice. I only have a few files that I still can't delete. I'm the only user on the laptop and therefore the administrator. These are several Avast antivirus protection files. I actually uninstalled the application but found these files. In the picture you can see what I mean. Anyone have an idea?
Is the app completely deleted from the computer? Check out the control panel for your apps. I think you should give Avast Admin rights so that they can uninstall themselves. I suspect that. But what file did you find from it and where?
At first glance, there are 4 Avast files that could not be deleted. The app itself is uninstalled. Includes all other related files. I deleted them with my iObit Uninstaller Pro. So it's all gone except 4 files. I saw that they were running in the Task Manager and then I was surprised.
Where exactly are the files or couldn't you find out?
If I now click Run as administrator, the window appears where I can install Avast. So if I click on AvastUI.exe I would be able to install Avast. Respectively. Does it say 'Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? '

There's a program that is "higher" than the administrator, and then everything can be done (rename, move, delete). The program is called "Unlocker", is self-explanatory, simple but still effective.
I have now downloaded the Avast uninstaller. Do the degree.
Try the official https://www.avast.com/...ll-utility.
Um, yup… I think the person knows where the path is…
