Following problem,
That's the first time I've been working properly with a laptop, before that I've never really paid attention to where the files are going and this caused a pretty big chaos. I wanted to have more space on my laptop, as had a lot of files, programs, images, etc. On OneDrive moved and then deleted on the actual computer (Acer, operating system: Windows 10) the whole files, in the end I noticed that one but the file must have so that OneDrive can retrieve it online! So I downloaded everything again.
So I recently gotten a 1TB hard drive and now my whole files move there. This worked as well as error free, but then I noticed how much all the files (folders) have moved, so I have completely lost the overview! There are everywhere shortcuts (some do not work anymore), many files are multiple (eg once on the laptop and then again on the external hard drive), I have tried it with the ABC method, but until I get all the files (manually ) and I'm sure that no program is in the wrong folder, it takes a long time!
That's why I wanted to know if you know any program that sorts the whole files, deletes duplicate files and all shortcuts! (On Acer and the EF) How do you sort your files? What is your tactic?
Thank you in advance, I'm just starting to work with the laptop and if I'm trying to find a project then that's not an easy task!
You can just move your own files. Programs have to be uninstalled and later reinstalled.
You can delete shortcuts, they are not the files themselves and they do not work because the files are not there anymore.
No idea what you actually did there.
Very much moved, so I do not even know if this file belongs to this folder o. Duplicate files… Well, I'll keep trying
