Not enough HDMI connections?

hi
12

I have a laptop and I want to buy a PC soon.

Namely the hardware advice 500 euro, but it has (as far as I've seen it)

only one HDMI connection. Is that right?

I also want to buy a monitor (I already have one for my laptop). Then I would need two HDMI connections.

Now to the question:

Is there such a thing as a USB hub, but only for HDMI?

So that I can connect both monitors AT THE SAME TIME.

Gr

As far as I know, there's no such thing as a USB hub only for HDMI, as HDMI does not use any addressed data like USB. Accordingly, the monitor can't simply pick out its video signal and ignore everyone else.

At best, you could split the same signal.

But are you sure that you don't have at least DVI or DisplayPort instead of additional HDMI?

hi

Don't know me so well: /

Does this PC have either 2 HDMI connections or DVI or DisplayPort?

It has 1x HDMI and 1x DVI. So you can connect two monitors. However, you don't have a dedicated graphics card here, but the APU (graphics unit of the CPU). So you can't expect real top performance from the PC when gaming.

hi

Is it enough for Minecraft on two monitors? ^^

Gr

He should be able to do that.

hi

Perfect.

hi

I learned earlier that DVI is not as good as HDMI. Is that correct?

Are there such "HDMI hubs" after all?

and:

Can you use DVI and HDMI at the same time? So also so that you can drag programs from the 1st monitor to the 2nd with the cursor

Graphics cards always have more than one connection. You then need an adapter for your second monitor (DVI-HDMI, DisplayPort-HDMI or whatever your graphics card has for connections).
IMPORTANT! Please do not use the connections on your motherboard because you do not want to buy an adapter for the GraKa!

Ka

You have DVI and HDMI and VGA

at DVI and HDMI you can always pack a pack, if necessary with an adapter.

There are USB Hs for USB C Thunderbird connections these have USB and also HMDI connections, there are various even with 3 HMDI connections.

With DVI you need extra sound because DVI does not transmit sound. But it doesn't matter, because if your HDMI already supplies a monitor with sound, the 2 doesn't need to make sound too.

times the different connections. You will not die if the one only has HD resolution. Later she just bought a graka.

A HUB for HDMI etc does not exist, or is of no use, your graphics card must have 2 outputs, otherwise you only have a mirrored image. With two outputs you have the extended display, so the desktop goes over both screens even if they should have different resolutions.

Yes there's. There's even for switching HDMI, mouse and keyboard.

We have such a thing. Press a small button and the peripherals are attached to computer 1, press again and everything is attached to computer 2.
