HDMI switch problems - is it due to Hdmi 2.1?

I had previously connected my PS4 and my laptop to my monitor directly via Hdmi 2.0. Now I've bought a Nintendo Switch, which is why I bought an Hdmi Switch from mrocioa. So three times Hdmi 2.0 to the Hdmi switch and then HDMI 2.1 to the monitor. There's then "no signal". Is that because of the Hdmi 2.1? I need urgent help.

Most switches are for the bin, as they can't cope with the complex HDMI protocols and these are constantly evolving.

Okay and how can you solve the problem?

To

Either always unplug it or buy a new monitor with more connections.

If you can handle two inputs, buy the "mechanical" switch from HAMA. It doesn't need any protocols because there's no electronics, just switches. You could hang a few of them in a row. I also use it because I had exactly the same problem with my DVD player and an electronic switch. If I find it, I'll add a comment.
