Hi, now that I have homeschooling, I prefer to do everything on a laptop, since I run out of printer paper and no more cartridges.
I only have the problem again and again that the teachers insert pictures in a Word file and I can't enter any text on the pictures. I have already informed the teachers so that they hardly insert any more pictures. (It doesn't help if I can't send anything to the teachers on the day of submission)
I've already tried a text field, but it doesn't work either.

I know exactly what you mean but if you want to write a text directly on the picture you just need to right click on the picture and set it in front of the picture if you wrap text, then you can write on the picture.
You can also take other options here.

Mark the picture and the layout options
select the option behind the text. Then you can write on the picture. But note the font color, it must be adapted to the image background. So, dark background light color, light background dark color.
