Does the new charging cable fit?

I ordered a new laptop charging cable because my old one is not working anymore.

When new: Input: 100-240 V - 50/60 Hz 0.8A Output: 19V == 1.75A

When old: Input: 100-240V ~ 1A 50-60Hz Output: 19V == 1.75A

It's all the same except for the rounded A (and the model number), so it should fit, right?

Should work fine.

The power connection on the 19V side can be different. Likewise, one should also be careful to always get a stronger one than what one uses. Has the advantage that the power supplies do not heat up so much and can go faster faster. At my old Sony Vario VPCCA laptop currently hangs a 19V 5.75 A power supply turn. It used to be a 3.75 A model. I have only the old power supply the power cord which leads to the laptop top cut off the plug of new power supply also (did not fit) and soldered the wires accordingly and Isolated. Who can't do that should be done by an electrician. Today, the power adapter barely warms and it lives longer than the old one.
