Can you add more RAM to a laptop? And if so, what's the best thing with 32 GB RAM?
My laptop now has 8 GB of RAM but that's not enough for Star Citizen. I think the laptop packs 32 GB of RAM. What do you think? Then what would be the best 32 GB of RAM to install? So which memory card?

That depends on the laptop. Depending on the processor and BIOS, different maximum configurations are possible. In some laptops there are 2 slots, others have only one and then there are those that can't be upgraded because the RAM is soldered. In general, however, there are "SO dimms" in laptops. Check the documentation that your computer can take.

For each laptop, you can download the product specifications and instructions for use from the manufacturer. As soon as you reveal which laptop it is about, readers can immediately give you the details that the RAM needs.
It is the notebook itself that determines the maximum RAM configuration and not the CPU.
So 8 or 16GB could be the limit, even if the CPU itself could handle 64GB.

And SO-Dimms is a different (smaller) design of ram modules, which are mainly used in notebooks and similarly compact devices (tablets, NAS, …).
