A. I have to give a PowerPoint presentation at school in two weeks and have to prepare it at home. However, my laptop doesn't have PowerPoint at home and my father doesn't want to buy it either. I can only make the presentation on PowerPoint because the computer at school can only open it.
I'm desperate now and see this as my last chance. Does any of you have any idea what I could do?
PS: I can't prepare it at school and there's no internet café nearby
Friends? Classmates?
There's a limited, but free, online version.
Alternatively, there would also be Open Office and Libre Office… Not quite as practical but free.
Well, tell the teacher that you don't have a PowerPoint and ask for a different presentation topic.
or if it has to be
eg. Have a look here
As far as I know, Google offers PowerPoint, but not with as many extras as the right office program.
Then there are also free student versions. If someone is already studying in your circle of relatives or friends (friends), they can also get you a version of this.
Otherwise, just tell your parents that you need the Office 2016 program for school. I mean that costs one-time 150 euro for private users. That's not a lot of money, whether poor or rich.
This is about your education, your degree, your future and not a computer game that you should buy for your fun and amusement. If your parents don't give the money, ask other relatives and tell them that it is for school and is important.
But if all else fails, I can help you if you want. I have the Office 2016 with all programs (World, Excel, Powerpoint etc.). I also know a lot about creating presentations. However, it costs you something. You then have to decide if your grade is important to you.
