Hard drive full on the computer?

My hard drive on my computer still has 32 GB of storage space. I wanted to ask if there's a possibility to expand it. I have a laptop so I can't replace the hard drive. Is there such a hard drive that you connect to the computer and where you can then save games? I would just like to get ARK, but I don't have enough. Are there such external hard drives?

LG I hope you understand what I mean

ho

Yes, there are external hard drives.

The hard drive can also be exchanged on laptops.

pa

And you just connect it and then save everything on it?

ho

Yes.

I recommend you ne 1 Tb ssd is expensive but really nice

That you don't know that amazes me. It is even called an external hard drive as you already describe it yourself. And it's not unusual these days, very, very many have one at home and there are plenty of them to buy in every electronics market

Se

This is the point of external storage devices - not opening the computer, but still being able to save data when there's insufficient space on the internal storage space.

Name the model of your laptop and we can tell you what options you have to expand the computer internally.

Are there such external hard drives? (But no USB sticks)

Yes there's.

There are plenty of external hard drives that you can e.g. Can connect to the computer via USB port.

Then you should put some data (texts, pictures, films, etc., which are usually found under "own files") on the external hard drive and then install the programs on the free space on the built-in hard drive of your computer.

An

Yes, there are many external hard drives, but I simply had a second hard drive built into my computer, it's easier to use than plugging in external hard drives at any time using USB.

I was not sure. Since my PC only has 236 GB or so of storage space, I thought that I would then drag all the games to the external hard drive, or install all of them there. Will the games run slower then? Or as usual?

Ne

Um, we didn't want the ID number of your PC but the model number from which brand which model

Is

As usual, it is best to buy an SSD then you are on the safe side when it comes to speed. Assuming that you have a USB3.0 port and that you also connect it there.

But that you have a USB3.0 connection, I strongly assume that they have been absolutely standard for years

pa

Then I think so. The laptop is only 6 months old

pa

So the brand is HP. Is that the device ID?

Is

I hope we don't have to tell you to change the directory when installing games. Sometimes this is under User Defined Installation. But sometimes it does. Just change the C at the beginning to what the other hard drive has.

I already knew that
