I would like to use the second RAM slot, but I don't know how it works.
Please Help.
Unfortunately that doesn't work at all because the manufacturer has done without the slot… If you can solder one in yourself, it could work because the contacts are all there:-)
That's why I asked about the built-in CPU earlier. The 2nd slot is only installed in the models with iCPUs. You can only replace the existing latch on the model.
Would like to use the second ram slot
You could…
… If there was a second one.
Can I use 8GB or 4GB, the manufacturer says up to max. 8GB expandable.
Is soldering risky?
You can forget. You can't do it.
Get a suitable 8GB RAM module and use it to replace the built-in one.
Yes, I would do it immediately.
But how do I know whether this can be expanded to 2 times 4 GB, or 8 GB all at once?
2 x 4GB do not work. You only have one slot.
So can 8Gb work?
Do you happen to have one with 8GB?
Could.
I have not.
OK thanks
You can use any bar size up to 8GB, regardless of whether it is 1GB, 2GB, 4GB or 8GB.
Are you sure?
On the Internet it is often the case that I only find 4GB twice. That means a single 8GB Ram bar is less common?
No, 8GB bars are not uncommon. And yes, I'm sure.
