I'm currently looking for a new laptop because mine is pretty old and broken. However, I have absolutely no idea which models or brands are good… Do any of you have a recommendation for a mid-range laptop that is not too big and that can be used well for school? It doesn't have to have any special functions, as I said, I mainly use it for school purposes.
I'm using the Lenovo Idepad C340. I would also recommend using one that you can also use as a tablet (this is called convertable). Many of my friends also use a Microsoft Surface, but that shouldn't be considered a laptop.
The latest Macbooks are the best because they have the longest battery life. This is important because most schools don't have enough sockets.
However, Macbooks are quite expensive, even with educational discounts. You have to be careful that your schoolmates don't break this thing out of envy.
I would get myself a MacBook if I had the permission and the money.
If I only had permission, I would get a Lenovo ThinkPad x1 Carbon, as you can get it quite cheaply
