Good morning wish everyone a pleasant start to the new week:-)
Since it is becoming more and more a trend to use mobile devices as a PC replacement, I wanted to ask around the clock to what extent mobile devices with mobile operating system z.b. How Android or Ios in your opinion can replace PCs.
I'm also interested to what extent and in which tasks your mobile device is already used as a PC replacement, it plans or where it would never come into question.
PS: With mobile devices I mean devices like smartphones or tablets. Laptops and hybrid devices with desktop operating system I count to conventional PCs.
I use both desktop pc (in the company) as well as laptop, tablet and smartphone (private). For me, each device somehow has its authority and I could not imagine, one day completely without a pc or at least classic laptop get along.
the main problem with tablet, I find the still pretty bad and fumbling touchscreen "keyboards" that simply never allow as fluid writing as on a pc or laptop keyboard. The cellphone is again better than the tablet, but then I think the screen is simply too small for many things. But a cell phone that is larger than 5.5 "is again impractical because you can't easily put it in your bag (and even some of my handbags come with the 5.5" mobile already at their limits).
Watching a movie on a mobile phone is simply not fun because of the small screen. That's better on the tablet. But games do not play on the tablet either - because you just need windows as the operating system, so that works and you also need a right keyboard and a mouse. And also the writing at girlfriend or the writing of e-mails and other texts is much more pleasant and fluent on a right keyboard as I have the pc or the laptop. Therefore, I can't imagine it.
I wish you all a wonderful day and a good start to the new week.

As a smartphone, I put because of the (just) compact format on a Samsung Galaxy S5 mini with Android operating system. The main purpose is to make phone calls, send SMS, read e-mails and listen to a little music and watch Youtube.
Since the device quickly degrades its battery capacity, it is rarely used for sustained use. I own several Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny systems that are very space and energy efficient. And almost all boot faster than the smartphone with Windows 7 or Windows 10 Pro (32- or 64-bit version) thanks to solid state disks from Kingston and Samsung. Whenever normal working / programming is pending, I use 100% of my PCs. On the smartphone, I have not yet written any e-mails - the virtual keyboard is too fiddly and annoying, if you want to search for a term with Google. Music? Here!

Dear Darkmalvet, and to all other Gugumo - friends.
For this today's GutenMorgenFrage - your topic is for me unfortunately a completely inappropriate THEME and therefore I'm also unfortunately a completely unsuitable ANSPRECHPARTNER for it.
I'm not a MORGENMUFFEL - but a TECHNIKMUFFEL through and through.
Although I'm relatively comfortable with the laptop and still able to keep myself afloat, any technical improvements and enhancements are no help for me, just additional loads.
Although I still have a very old and antediluvian mobile phone - but for the projects and processes for which I need it, it is enough for me anyway.
Recently, I'm also the proud owner of a pretty good smartphone, but I do with the learning and familiarization very difficult, although I had very willing helpers by my side, which were very helpful to me in learning the Smarthones.
But it takes so much time with me, until I get along with it, you're not twenty Lenze anymore.
What I miss very much - this is a so-called, understandable "step by step guide" so that the older semester can come with it.
CONCLUSION ; I also realize why I have to do all this NEW to me at all, to make phone calls my previous mobile phone anyway. For seniors without English knowledge, the whole thing is a difficult receiving anyway. Well, I can watch movies and movies on my laptop, if I have to.
Therefore it is a pity that I can contribute so little to the question.
Even if you have no idea about the things, but you have a little bit yes, a very good answer, dear Plawöpfchen and with the phone I fully agree with you, GLG.
Good answer and thank you, also you one such day and one week, GLG.
With security you will also learn how to use the smartphone. This is not so hard. By the way, you have contributed a lot to the question, I think.
I wish you a nice afternoon and a good week with best regards.
What is that? That they read you here again? Incredible. Are you coming back to gugumo more regularly now, when the girls are working less again?
As the main season at the Käuzen is now so close to Laangsaam, I really hope that this will be the case and I'm very happy about all the positive echo. Now, starting from August, more and more work on the website and there's then rather up, GLG.

You will find here a suitable device for you.

Dear Plaowpfchen… Since I agree completely with your opinion… Also I use only my laptop… And for technical questions I'm absolutely unsuitable… Lb Gruss from the angel
Thank you, my dear Sofia,
I think it's very nice that you give me so much courage, and try to straighten up and give me to understand that I have not lost hops and malt. * grin *
Greetings to you and a very nice afternoon wishes you the Pla potions
I always admire your knowledge, which I undoubtedly read out of your line. In this regard, I'm always a little sad that I have not grown up even at such a time when this technique was about computer, mobile phone laptop, internet etc.
Thank you dear Pica, for your kind words that at least tell me - how beautiful, that I can at least E T W A S.
Dear little angel, D A N K E for your kind words.
I hope you heard my heavy sigh when a stone jumped from my soul. GLG from the potty
Yes, arrived… Lach… Thank God I have a man with an angelic patience who always explains everything to me (though it takes a long time to understand) in terms of technical stuff… Lb Gr Angel
