You are not ordering from eBay, you are making a binding purchase from a seller who only uses eBay as a sales platform.
And you should take a close look at this seller, e.g. The ratings received and whether PayPal payment is possible.
It must also be clear to you that when you buy abroad, you are completely giving up your usual German buyer rights, this also applies to any warranty claims.
