Looking laptop that suits me?

I'm looking, as the title suggests, a laptop. The problem is, I know about zero. Since I have no good experience in electronics trading consultations, I'm looking for some objective recommendations. Maybe you could tell me what to look for, how much memory is good, etc. Maybe you'll think of a model that would fit. It should not be more expensive than 500 euro, but I do not know exactly what my claims, even if there are a few, priced good. That's why I'm counting on what I would like to do:

How often and in which resolution do you edit videos?
Do you have an external hard drive for the raw data available or do you save on the laptop itself?
Please name the "other games" please. This is essential for the selection of whether a powerful graphics card is necessary.
Do you prefer larger displays (for example, 15-17 inches) or should the laptop be as small as possible (11-13 inches) because you often use it on a docking station with monitors?
