Today I connected a screen to my laptop with an HDMI cable. This should serve as a second screen. Everything works, but the quality is very poor even though it is a 4K screen and the correct format is used.
The graphics card has enough power
Did you set the resolution correctly in the settings?
Yes is a gaming laptop
Mostly this is due to the extra zoom activated by Windows.
A scale should be specified somewhere in the settings under Display.
So there you can switch to 100%, then you have the native resolution.
Often windows scaled to 125% or 150% and that is really ugly.
But there are also a few programs that don't get along with 4K and scaling.
Yes I have
Which graphics card?
Or the graphics card does not have enough power to use two 4K monitors.
Monitor new? Protective film still on?
