When I looked at a couple of laptops the other day, I saw quite a few with Google's ChromeOS operating system. Now I ask myself, what can you do with Windows that you can't do with it? Is it worth buying a notebook with ChromeOS?
The disadvantage is that there's unfortunately not a large selection of good software for ChromeOS. Actually, Chrome PCs are mainly intended for fast, uncomplicated surfing on the Internet and for everything that can be done within the Chrome browser. Not so for other software.
With Chrome OS you also have the Google Play Store so that you can also install Android apps on it.
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and Microsoft Teams are also available as Android apps.
You can also print with it. To do this, you need a wireless printer. All you have to do is install the printer brand's printing app in the Google Play Store.
In addition, Chromebooks run extremely fast because the Chrome OS operating system is tailored to the built-in components. They also have a much longer battery life and don't need a fan. Bluetooth is also supported.
For example this: https://www.amazon.de/...08JRDSJ29/ that has 8GB of RAM. That's an awful lot for a Chromebook.
