Problems with project N64 on Windows 10?

I installed the N64 emu on my laptop again. This runs under Windows 10. Since the last download I have noticed differences. For example, you have to wait 30 seconds before it starts.

I wanted to play Mario64 and bugs life and then I noticed that the game suddenly runs very slowly.

Does anyone have an idea why this could be? I didn't have these problems on Windows 7 at the time.

I have already tried the complexity mode.

Change to mupen64+. It shouldn't cause any problems under Windows 10.

If you have problems getting mupins to work, do it via RetroArch.
