Microsoft Office 365 makes sense?

I'm currently on the verge of buying MS Office 365, but wanted to ask if it makes sense or not

I have a new Surface Pro 6, a smartphone and my girlfriend would use it on her laptop and mobile phone as well.

I need the typical Office programs like Word, Excel and PowerPoint quite a lot so I really want something from Microsoft and not LibreOffice or anything. Besides, I really like Outlook.

Is it useful or should I prefer to buy a "normal" license package where I then have no update, etc

If you buy Office 2019 today, you will not need an update for the next few years. The new changes are actually so marginal since 2013 that you can live without them.

Office 365 will cost you 70 euro / year, while you can buy a key for Office versions with Outlook (for example Proffessional Plus) for the price or the price tag.

My tip: If you use the Cloud OneDrive heavily, take Office 365.

Otherwise, the classic version is the better and cheaper choice.

For a normal license key when I buy, can I then download the Office products on multiple devices or rather said Activate or is that only with a device?
