I'm already desperate. So I'll give it a try here.
The problem: the Wi-Fi breaks off every 2 minutes. But not really, I'm still connected to the router. Only the Internet is no longer running. If I reconnect it then it will work again for about 2 minutes. Or I wait about 5 minutes, then he will reconnect. The mysterious thing is that it's just the laptop. Any other device has no problems. And the laptop has no other problems with other networks.
This is what the Windows troubleshooter says: "The proxy settings of the network could not be determined automatically"
I've already tried the following:
-Restart the laptop and router
Driver update and downgrade
- Changeover of the frequency band from 2.4 to 5 GHz and back.
-Winsock reset
- Laptop deleted from the router and reconnected
Do you have any ideas? Maybe I'm missing something.
I would soon fiddle with the DNS settings and possibly assign a static IP.
Question: Which device, which router?
Fritzbox 7490, laptop: MSI GL73 8RE
If anything else is required, please let us know!
Which WLAN card is installed in it? Spatial conditions are interesting, sometimes it can be because of it.
The laptop itself is not bad ^^
Intel Wireless-AC 9462 I can't get more detailed information ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ / ¯
The room has nothing to do with it. I can stick it on the router and it happens anyway.
And if you go to the router via LAN?
It works without problems.
