Screen is constantly black until I move the mouse, why is it?

My laptop has an annoying problem. If I'm ianactive (ie do not use the mouse or the Tastatus), the screen turns black after about 3 seconds, until I do something again. That does not happen as long as it moves on the screen. Whereby already the blinking line in a Word document is enough. Of course, I have not activated a screensaver and the graphics card driver is up to date. Does somebody has any idea?

th

Energy saving mode or the screen is switched off?

Look under the "energy saving options" because there are various settings for the screen.

Something of it will probably be, because as soon as he hangs from the power he leaves that. I just can't find a setting that changes something…

Hm… Turn off screen is an option…

Ansosnten under the power options simply turn off energy saving completely, so on "full power"? Of course, be careful, if you are traveling with it, it can also pull a little more battery. If necessary, then change again. But I have my laptop on full power because I very rarely work on battery power.
