I want to get a laptop and unfortunately I don't know which operating system is the best or which laptop should I buy at all. Just vote and be happy to explain your selection.
Of course, that depends on everyone and what you expect / need from your PC and what you can do without
I get along best with OS and also find it the most practical:-)
The best for what?
What is most important to you
Which is the safest and easiest to use, I thought.
I think MacOS is the best. Seldom annoying updates and when I switch on my computer I'm not immediately expected by a blue screen with a white rotating circle. I have also been able to use my MacBook for 5 years without any problems.
Windows is annoying. Linux is 1 great system. It is open-source and you can tinker with the system and the software in almost any way you want. This also means that you deal much more intensively with the operating system on a Linux computer.
If you just want to work, you can handle Windows - but you can still install Linux as a second operating system.
I'm of the opinion that when it comes to using all the important programs and functions that the world has to offer, Windows is the clear winner. Nevertheless, Linux-based OS in particular are catching up: There, too, more and more programs are made accessible and such systems offer:
-A freely accessible code
-Hardware-saving operating system in general
-More and better data protection
-It's completely free
-A nicer interface (a matter of taste and a little different for every Linux-based OS, I'm talking about Ubuntu, for example.)
- Basically easier to use
These reasons also prompted me to use Windows as the daily driver and Ubuntu for gadgets and everything else on my laptop.
Conclusion: Windows is the winner here for me, but other OS also offer their advantages and are slowly but surely catching up.
Ultimately, the choice of the operating system depends entirely on the preferences of the user and the purpose of the application.
Thank you for your helpful answer.
With current Linux distributions, i.e. Variants, you don't need to deal with the system any more than with Windows,
Example Linux Mint.
If you want to grow up in work life, then buy Windows, because every company I've been to was Windows-bound…
If you want to work in specific IT companies, you are well advised to be familiar with both Windows and Linux.
Linux on the server side, if it's not about Exchange and Windows for the Outlook stories and the users in the company…
You can use Mac in media professions, but Windows is gradually replacing the special programs that are only available on the Mac…
Above all, it is terrible to configure a Mac the way I want it… To click pictures, however, it is excellent…
If you just want to go online and don't need any programs that are only available on Microsoft's operating systems, then learn Linux right away, because there are hardly any viruses and you save a lot of time, are faster and are much safer, even without various scanners Eat up resources…
No, you don't have to.
But many do.
