Which one can you recommend? A good display, long battery life and, if possible, a 2: 1 would be desirable.

Ok, thanks but I find apple ridiculously expensive, since only 8 GB of ram and so little memory…
Did the best of all notebooks in all areas. Mac OS is very economical so that 8GB RAM can do a lot more than Windows.
If you want more RAM and storage, you can get the MacBook Air in a better configuration.

That has nothing to do with it. The MacBook Pro only has the Touch Bar, a fan and a larger screen to choose from. There are also minor differences in performance, but the processors in the MacBook Air consume less power. Another difference is the built-in graphics card, you can cut videos on all of them.
As soon as you want to do something with graphic design or 3D animations, I would take the MacBook Pro.

No, it just depends on which configuration you choose. But keep in mind that the MacBook Air with i7 is about as fast as the MacBook Pro with i5! This is because the processor is about half as fast under full load due to the not so good cooling system.
But you can use everything!
