I gave my dad a Samsung 500GB SSD for Christmas because his 60GB SSD was too small for him.
Now I have the data from the 60GB SSD (C. Cloned to the new.
My question now is, how do I get it, that the notebook from G: boots. I have already tried it in bios, but under the point "Boot", the new SSD is not displayed.
The notebook runs on Windows 10 and has 2 SSDs and a built-in HDD.
I guess your problem will be the ad. Because the hard drive or SSD being booted is Automatic C.
I had that too, I made a second PArtiton on my HDD, she then had the drive letter C and D. C had 1.4 TB and D 600GB. When I had booted from D, the 600GB PArtition was at once C and the 1.4TB D.
I suspect you will be the same. That's why I would recommend, just look at the memory size and not on the drive letter.
Thanks for the answer!
I'll keep seeing when I'm back home.
Happy fest
