Hal my dear what do you have to do to charge a laptop on the car without the battery draining from the cart? Have ever used the search engine but there's mostly nonsense u. A. Of people who want to remodel their entire car and reinvent electricity.
You have to deflect the roof, remove the rear seat and swap the front passenger seat with the driver's seat. A repainting is also absolutely necessary.
:)
If your laptop needs 12V charging voltage, you're in luck that you can charge with a simple charging adapter via the cigarette lighter.
If he needs another voltage: There are chargers for the cigarette lighter to buy.
And that's how quickly you do not empty the battery. The recharges while driving again.
Even if you install a second battery now: this too would have to be charged at some point. You would not have any advantages.
So that's because of the capacity of the battery? With my old cart, I always had problems with an empty battery.
Yes.
Especially if you drive a lot of short distance where the battery is never really fully charged.
As I said: Whether you ne second battery or install the existing take - you have to charge the battery (s) in both cases.
Then you need a second alternator
If you have a cigarette lighter socket, you do not have to rebuild your car, but you need a step-up regulator that will give you exactly the voltage your original laptop power supply has at the output. You'll need to use mostly 18 - 24V (depending on the laptop) and around the 5A load capacity, e.g. Den:

At the entrance a cable with cigarette lighter plug and at the output the plug, which also has your laptop charger, maybe a plastic housing for the board, and then you go.
From the Um away on a 12V to 220V AC controller, and then the original power supply, I can only advise against, so you waste a lot of energy.
Yes.
Or an intact battery, which has a few more Ah and you bravely charge by slightly longer travel times.
Or you really get yourself a second battery, which is completely independent of the electrical system and which you charge at home with a charger if necessary. An XXL power bank, so to speak.
Why does the laptop ever have to be loaded in the car? Do you have no sockets in your apartment?
Every hour, the charger (generously rounded up) pulls you out of the battery for about 10Ah. The laptop takes about 2 hours to Volladen. At least mine would draw so much. That would probably somehow, while the battery is not idle.
I thought for a road trip I need something like that, for example, if I'm sitting in Portugal for a week on the Atlantic Ocean and want to write home office hours
Yes, but I would like to be self-sufficient for a week ne
Then you will probably drive much longer.
Just do it this way: If you're going for a longer drive, just load the laptop in the first hours of driving. In the car while driving many other electricity consumers of the same magnitude are active (light, etc.). When the laptop is full, the alternator loads in the following driving lessons again.
Without the battery draining from the cart?
Where should the power come from if not from the car battery?
If you have ne usable battery in the car then you can transform the 12V with a voltage converter to 230V and directly connect your charging cable.
Depending on the supply and capacity of your battery, you can run your laptop (depending on the consumption) but several hours.
Yeah, but when I'm at the Strant I do not ride longer and then I can't load so often, right?
I want something for a week?
Then the car has to run at least temporarily or you need (several) strong batteries.
Yes and how does it work then I can always exchange bad
Then you have to budget a little more economically with the laptop.
You can load a maximum of 1x between two longer trips.
Or you can also get a tablet, if that's enough for you. This needs far less power.
You could switch the batteries in parallel but it would certainly be cheaper and easier you can run the car than if you buy multiple batteries.
Have a tablet
Then take that instead of the laptop for the tasks for which it is suitable and be economical with the laptop use. Can copy the data accordingly.
Oh, that can't be true, but that's just the way it should be
Nee in the stand my car consumes so 4l the hour or so. Would synonymous 3 to 5 parallel turn if that helps
Wtf mine needs in the state 0,5L / hour.
Weis not what you want to invest / can an idea would be a truck battery with 235Ah (200 euro) fully charged should you be able to lose about 80% without damaging them. Then we subtract 10% for converting. Then stay well 2000Wh so my laptop would run a good 100 hours. If you can still recharge the battery while driving, of course, more running time. In addition, you do not have the risk of draining your car battery and therefore remain lying.
I'm not an electrician or similar If that does not work for any reasons correct me.
You have to cut back on such tours.
Or just now and then open somewhere where you may use a power outlet.
Or just drive enough to cover the power consumption of the alternator.
Or a second alternator (which also consumes gasoline).
So if you could have a switchable I would be there
You have to ask somebody who knows cars.
I know about electronics, but I have no idea about auto mechanics.
